Emily and Adam maternity session
Emily and Adam met seven and a half years ago when Emily had just returned from university and Adam had just moved to the island to work a couple of months earlier. Emily's twin introduced the couple and they hit it off immediately. The two were married and then while on safari in South Africa last Christmas, sweet baby Charlie was conceived. His name in utero was Idube, which is the Zulu name for zebra, which was the name of the Lodge where his tiny life first began. Emily and Adam are so excited to make Bermuda the perfect home to raise their little boy and so wanted to capture the pregnancy at a beach location which embodied all the magic a life in Bermuda offers.
Emily was full of amazing ideas. She had seen on America's top model some shadows cast onto the models so wanted to do something similar. I brought the train from my wedding dress which made these dreamy patterns on her belly.
Emily brought a striped scarf which made the most amazing contours on her pregnant belly.
Love love the sun burst and what happens to my lens in this photo below.

ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! What is your personal opinion on people pinning your work on Pinterest? I would not want to pin anything the artist would not be ok with :-)
