Chris, Amy, Julian & Wesley

You may remember Chris and Amy from their wedding that I photographed. They returned to Bermuda to celebrate their fifth anniversary and so chose to do the shoot at the location of the wedding. Only this time, they had two snuggly little sons to add in to the mix!

Amy says Chris is the most hands on father she has ever seen. He is completely involved with his sons and it is well known in their circle of friends and acquaintances in the community.

Amy is absolutely in love with her children and her family means the world to her. So much so that she has resigned from her wonderful job teaching high school biology so she can focus on raising her gorgeous boys.

Julian is three and is a very independent and active boy, whose soft side is best scene when he is with animals. He is so sweet and wonderful with them.

Wesley was 14 months at our shoot and is such a snugly baby and loves following his big brother around. And luckily, his big brother adores to try to make him laugh so it is win win!

This is Nilda, who has been with the family for the last five years. Julian looks up to her 12 year old son, who is a great soccer player. And Nilda adores these two boys!

Amy and Chris - it was so wonderful to see you again and to see how you now have two delicious children and are the most devoted parents - makes me so happy to see. Hope the rest of your holiday was dreamy! xxx

Chris, Shelley, Oscar & Maeve

Shelley and I have been trying to book this session in for years, but it finally happened and to me, it was worth the wait for them as the kids were just at the best ages. Chris and Shelley feel so lucky to have beeb blessed with two gorgeous children late in life but I think these two kids are pretty blessed to have such fabulous parents!

Oscar was almost six at our shoot and although he was a little tired from too many summer holiday late nights, I think he did beautifully. His mummy thinks it was a shame we didn't wait until the winter when we could do the shoot earlier in the day, but I think this little love bug was just delicious and I can totally see what a super cuddly and affectionate boy he can be.

Maeve is a summer solstice baby, born exactly at the end of the solstice yoga chants, which is very fitting considering Shelley is a yoga goddess! She is a dichotomy as she is incredibly intelligent and fiery, but still needs to be close by her peeps. Shelley says she feels lucky to get a kiss and a hug from her in a day.

This dress made my heart skip a beat - I love those muted adult colours on a child and the whimsical flowy design.
