Mike and Cat started working together as air traffic controllers in 2009. They were acquaintances for a long time, but became good friends in 2011 after they each found themselves single. Later that year, things took a romantic turn and although they both had reservations about dating a co-worker, they simply couldn't stay away from each other! They managed to keep their love a secret for eight months, though some co-workers swear they could tell. Either way, there was no stopping this love boat and the pair became engaged last summer after a long hike in Dolly Sods, West Virginia. They found a river side campsite and that is where Mike proposed as the sun was setting. The next day, the love birds hiked six hours in the pouring rain, having to cross two rivers in the process. They had hoped for a better day for their wedding and the two couldn't have been luckier when the sun shone in a cloudless sky in Bermuda as they said their I dos.
