Baby Cruz

In June, Alexandria, Thomas and Savannah's family tree grew once again when the welcomed Baby Cruz Thomas. For three years, it was just the three of them, and they couldn't have imagined it getting any better, but Cruz proved them wrong by filling the house with even more love. As this is the second baby, Alexandria and Thomas knew how quickly they grow from needy babies into independent little people. They cherish each day with their little baby boy and were delighted to capture those precious newborn moments with big sister Savannah.

 

The family were thrilled when the doctor told them they would be having a boy, for they knew Savannah was going to love having a brother. They just hope Cruz can keep up with her. Her parents love to watch the way she interacts with Cruz, and as each day passes, she grows fonder of her baby brother. When Savannah came to the hospital to meet Cruz, her first question was whether the baby was a boy or a girl. When they told her the baby was a boy, she started to cry and asked for him to be a girl. A couple of days later, she asked if they could pretend that Cruz was a girl. I think by the time of the shoot though, she was proud to be the big sister of a baby brother and was a delightful cuddler with him.

 

    

This series here are so simple and so beautiful - I love the leaves. Alexandria had brought some bay grape leaves, but they were too bulky and didn't lay flat, so I popped out to the garden and cut these and I am smitten with the results.
