Snippets of Love

My heart was skipping in my chest while I was shooing this wedding - it was all so beautiful I didn't know where to put my excitement or how I would ever be able to capture it all. And when I was processing the sneak peeks, I was even more over the moon, for the moments captured were too beautiful to be true. I felt a mix of glee and regret, for although it is one of the most lovely weddings I have ever shot, the couple are deeply private and chose not to share their images on my blog. I convinced them of a compromise where I am able to reveal only the beauty without revealing the couple themselves. I think these will give a taste for the day, and leave you imagining just how gorgeous the couple and their wedding day were!

I think this one above can enter my list of fave images ever...

Weinstein Family

This is a fabulous family - too fabulous in too many ways to mention, but suffice to say that I think they are the best. Charlotte, their lovely daughter was in play group with Oslo when they were wee, then they were in the same class together at nursery school last year. And sweet Henry, with his heavenly curls, just makes me swoon. And Steve is full of a gentle and kind intelligence that I so respect. And Anne - she is beauty-full - and if it is possible, more so on the inside than out. Enjoy xx

Coleman Collection

I photographed the Coleman's wedding, their family portraits last year, then Candice's sister's wedding, and finally I have created their Collection. I am trying out some new types of manipulations and am really happy with the results - did lots of variations of each image, but these were my favourites. I was so smitten with the eyes on these kids so forgive my obsession - they are just such amazing looking children.

Lost Lana

If you've been wondering where I've been, my lovely assistant Lana has gone away for 6 weeks! I am lost without her. That added to the fact that it is Easter holidays so Oslo and Indigo are off school / nursery. As you can imagine, two children home all day is not conducive to processing!

But to tide you over, here are a couple fun shots I took of Lana at the wedding I shot a couple weeks back - promise to blog the rest of their pics soon. I was testing out my new macro lens before I did the ring shots. Slightly too shallow a depth of field since I focused on her lashes not her iris, but love the crop!

Isn't Lana just so fabulous - I have gazillions of photos of her in all sorts of different locations and poses where I am testing the light. She is the best. Did  I mention I am lost without her?

Lana, if you are reading, miss you oodles. Hope you are having fun, but hope you come home soon too. xxx
